Rev Dr Tyler Cox
Senior Pastor
Pastor Tyler began his appointment as Senior Pastor of Millbrook First Methodist Church on August 1, 2023. He was raised in Prattville and received his B.S. in Psychology in 1993, and Master of Science in Psychology in 1996 from Auburn University Montgomery, Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 2000, Master of Divinity from Liberty University in 2011, and Doctor of Ministry from Candler School of Theology at Emery University in 2023. He has previously served as pastor of McIntosh UMC, Calvert UMC and Blountstown UMC, and as a chaplain in the Air National Guard.
Wesley Morris
Director of Music Ministries
Wesley has served as the Director of Music Ministries since August 2007. In addition to working at MFMC, he is also the Band Director and Choral Music Director at Stanhope Elmore High School. Wesley earned his B.S. in Music Education from The University of Alabama Birmingham and his Masters in Music Education from Auburn University. He is married to the former Jennifer Messick and they have two children, Ellie and Tripper.
Debbie Cox
Director of Children's Ministries
Mrs. Debbie has served as the Director of Children's Ministries since 2024. She is retired from the Montgomery County Public School System. She is married to Gary Cox, and they have three grown children: Amber, Kelli and Megan, four grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
Rev Sarah Roberts
Youth Minister
Sarah comes from a military family, so she likes to say, "I'm from nowhere and everywhere at the same time.", but she calls Alabama home. She spent most of her high school years in Hawaii but graduated from Prattville Christian Academy. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from Huntingdon College in 2019 and then graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministries. She has been married to her husband Josh for 5 years and they have two basset hounds named Eeyore and Tigger. Sarah loves playing video games, weightlifting, and snuggling with my fur babies in her spare time.

Courtney Story
Administrative Assistent
Courtney began her position as the Administrative Assistant in 2024, after retiring from the insurance industry where she owned an independent agency for 24 years. She grew up in Millbrook and married Scott Story in 1997. They have 2 children, Matt and Claudia.
Lindy Gamble
Principle Accompanist
Lindy Gamble is the pianist for our church and has been affiliated with Millbrook First Methodist Church since 2007. She is also a Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center East and has three children and three stepchildren, ages 2 to 14. Playing piano and singing are her favorite pastimes. She is married to Adam Gamble.
Gary Cox
Church Caretaker
Gary has served as the Sound Technician since 1999. He retired from Interstate Battery in Montgomery. He is married to Debbie Cox and have three grown children: Amber, Kelli and Megan, four grandsons and two granddaughters.
